I AM THE LEADER IN INNOVATION!
How could I come in this position?
As a teacher educator, educational researcher and innovative leader, it is interesting to realize how difficult it is to say who I am. I was born in Dolakha district of Nepal. Dolakha is a highly mountainous landscape making access to various complicated places. But, those landscapes offer a gratifying experience for those who love nature and scenery. Before, I came to study at Kathmandu University for master degree in mathematics education (February 2011-February 2013) and gradually MPhil in mathematics education (February 2014- July 2015). My teaching journey has started as soon as I completed my bachelor’s degree in Arts. It initially began as a full time and part time mathematics teacher and now it’s been more than a decade that I’ve not only been focusing in one institutions.
My initial teaching career started from a government school, thereby many private schools, visiting facilities in the renowned universities and now in a private school as a community facilitator of mathematics. I want to see my learners become successful through their education and pursue their career. A key motivator for me is teaching mathematics and other subjects in ways that enhance learner learning. In recent years, the knowledge, skills and competencies enhanced by facilitators have changed dramatically and even more, the content and process of teaching and learning have also undergone a change in one way or the other. |
